Who Are We?
We are the 4311 Currents, Swampscott High School's robotics team. We participate in FIRST® Robotics Competition, an exciting nationwide event that provides a wonderful opportunity for educational growth. We have been a team in this competition since 2012. We won our first competition in 2018, at the Greater Boston District event.
What We Do
Each year, in FIRST® Robotics Competition, we are given six week to build a robot that can play a specific game. After that, we bring the robot to competitions to play the game itself! Swampscott High School's robotics team offers many wonderful opportunities to build relationships, learn robot-building skills, intrapersonal skills, financial skills, and leadership skills.
